The ISNaPol – International Symposium on Natural Polymers is a series of conferences that offers to attendees an unparalleled opportunity to network with scientists, engineers and business leaders to discuss multidisciplinary aspects of natural polymers and its related fields. The program of the conference would focus on current and emerging trends in polymer science and advanced materials, as well as their applications. The broad themes addressed during the conference include synthesis and properties of advanced materials, nano-scale and nanostructured materials and devices, natural polymers, polysaccharides, lignin, natural fibers, biomaterials and biobased materials and their applications.

We hope to carry on this tradition with the 8th ISNaPol and bring world top scientists as plenary, keynote and invited speakers from different areas of subjects coming around the world and keep up to date with the latest in cutting edge research and development in their fields.

This conference builds on the remarkable success of the previous editions, which started in 1996, with the last edition held in Gramado, RS, Brazil.

This time, the conference, besides its original sponsors, UNESP, USP, UNICAMP and CNPDIA/EMBRAPA, now will include UFABC and UFSCar.

The next year conference will be a dynamic extension of the scope of the previous conferences offering even more prospects for professional development and scientific interaction, The key theme governing the 8th ISNaPol will be “How Scientists can Contribute for a Sustainable World”.

We hope you will join us in May 27th to May 30th for the 8th ISNaPol which promises to be a great success.
