Terry Ruas: xploring Lexical Chains in Semantic Document Retrieval
Abstract: From an indexing approach used in content-based image retrieval, we devise a representation for a text document utilizing lexical cohesion and based on the spatial distribution of content semantics. We perform several experiments demonstrating the efficacy of our approach in a proof of concept and benchmark dataset.
